Shipping Policy

1. Preparation and dispatch times

All orders are prepared with care.

  • Our goal: dispatch within 48 hours after order confirmation.

  • Depending on order volume, dispatch may be faster (within 24–48h).

  • Once the parcel is handed to the carrier, a tracking number is emailed to the customer.

2. Domestic shipping (France)

Three delivery methods are offered:

  • Colissimo home delivery (with or without signature) – typical delivery: 2–3 business days

  • Chronopost home express (next-day delivery depending on location)

  • Chrono 2 Shop / Shop2Shop (relay pickup) – typical delivery: 2–4 business days

3. International shipping

International shipments are carried out via Chronopost International, using its network and local partner carriers in destination countries (USPS, Royal Mail, DHL eCommerce, Correos, Bpost, PostNL, etc.).

Indicative delivery times

  • Europe: 2–4 business days

  • North America: 2–5 business days

  • Asia / Oceania: 3–7 business days

  • Middle East / Africa: 3–7 business days
    Actual times may vary due to customs processing and local carrier delays.

Local restrictions on food products

Some countries impose strict restrictions or prohibitions on importing food products.
These regulations vary by country, change without notice and are beyond our control.

Balbosté:

  • is not responsible for parcels blocked, inspected, opened, retained, returned or destroyed by customs,

  • cannot guarantee that food products will be accepted into the destination country.

The customer is solely responsible for checking import regulations before ordering.

Customs duties and taxes

For international shipments:

  • Customs duties, import taxes, local VAT, inspection fees or any other customs charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • These costs are unpredictable and depend entirely on local authorities.

  • Balbosté does not cover, reimburse or compensate any customs-related fees or delays.

4. Packaging and shipping precautions

We use strong, protective packaging tailored to each product:

  • reinforced cardboard boxes and internal cushioning for fragile items,

  • double packaging for food items or glass containers,

  • secure sealing and clear labeling.

5. Parcel inspection upon delivery

Customers must check their parcel upon receipt.
In case of damage or irregularity:

  • notify the carrier when possible,

  • photograph the parcel and its contents,

  • contact Balbosté within 48 hours.

Food items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless the issue is attributable to Balbosté.

6. Conditions and limitations

  • All delivery times are indicative and expressed in business days.

  • Balbosté cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, local restrictions or force majeure.

  • Additional fees may apply for oversized, fragile or special shipments.
